Working in close relationships with Directors of Programs, Resident Service Coordinators and Activity Directors, I provide an on-site musical and educational one-hour audiovisual concert “Traveling with Accordion around the World” to residents of:

• Senior Centers
• Rehabilitation Centers
• Nursing Homes
• Assisted Living Facilities
• Adult Health Centers

These musical performances are entertaining and engaging, where the audience takes a musical trip around the world with a live accordion performance, while enjoying slides and videos about the history of the country, historical places in the cities, people who live there and their traditions and the origins of the music I play.

Residents can sing and dance along during these accordion performances, which also are very therapeutic and initiate physical activity and movement, provide an outlet for creative expression and motivate engagement with peers.  

Musical instruments, audio equipment, slides and lyrics for the audience sing-along are provided by Entertaining with Accordion. 

Special requests are welcome and I will try my best to accommodate them. 

OPTION 1:  Virtual World Tour with Live Accordion

One-hour audiovisual concert, where the audience takes a virtual trip to the country/region based on the package pre-selected prior to the performance.  On the flat-screen TV or wall screen/projector, audience enjoys one of my themed videos, accompanied by live accordion music of that country/region.  These videos are fun and informational and include historical places and popular attractions.

• Scandinavian Tour – Virtual tour of Scandinavian region, accompanied by live performance of Scandinavian folk songs and dances.
• London and Dublin Tour – Virtual tour of London and Dublin, accompanied by live performance of English and Irish folk songs and dances.
• Shalom, Israel! – Virtual tour of Israeli cities, accompanied by live performance of Israeli folk and secular songs and dances.
• A Passage to Eastern Europe – Virtual tour, accompanied by live performance featuring Hungarian csárdás, Romanian sirba, Moldavian hora, Polish mazurka, polonaise, polka and more.
• Russian and Ukrainian Tour – Virtual tour of Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Kiev, Lviv and Odesa, accompanied by live performance of Russian and Ukrainian folk and secular songs and dances.
• Around the Word with Live Accordion – Virtual world tour, accompanied by live performance of music from 22 countries in Europe, Middle East, Central and South America.

OPTION 2:  Holiday Music with Live Accordion

One-hour audiovisual concert, where the audience enjoys one of my holiday-themed videos, accompanied by live accordion holiday music.

• Valentine’s Day – Visual presentation, accompanied by live performance of love songs and romantic melodies
• St. Patrick's Day – Visual presentation of St. Patrick parades, accompanied by live performance of Irish melodies
• Memorial Day / Veteran’s Day – Visual presentation, accompanied by live performance of all-time favorite patriotic songs and melodies
• Mother’s Day – Visual presentation, accompanied by live performance of songs dedicated to Mom
• Oktoberfest – Visual presentation of the famous German beer festival, accompanied by live performance of Germans folk songs and dances
• A Christmas Sing-Along – Visual presentation, accompanied by live performance of old-time Christmas favorites, while the audience sings along
• Jewish Holidays - A Jewish Dance and Sing-Along – Visual presentation, accompanied by live performance of  Jewish holiday music (Purim, Simchat Torah, Hanukah, etc.), Klezmer tunes (Bulgar, Frailach, Hora, Sher), religious and secular songs and dances from Europe and Israel, while the audience dances and sings along
